Our Story

Careerpath promotes career teaching and learning in Ugandan formal and informal education systems through career education and awareness, employability and workforce readiness training. The way in which young people think about their career options is strongly influenced by their social background and settings. However, early and varied exposure to different careers and the world of work can help broaden their horizons. Careerpath believes getting this timely and early access to and utilization of career guidance information required to take informed career decisions increases young people’s future life chances to transition from school to work and to be responsible future employers and employees. Our hope is for this page to provide career inspiration, passion and motivation. Our desire is to offer as much opportunities as possible for individuals to shape their career future, offer solutions to those in mid-career crisis and create a bridge between the education they receive and the work they desire to do.
