Fountain of Wisdom Foundation

Based Organization operating in the districts of Wakiso and Kiboga. Born in March

2012, FWF has outreach programs that intervene in causes elsewhere in the

country. FWF works among disadvantaged children and in responding to the call of

families living in extreme poverty. Livelihoods among our target population are

based on subsistence agriculture and petty trade. A considerable number of youth

survive by offering unskilled labor. Unstable livelihoods, ignorance, disease and

dysfunctional families are common place. Poverty is the signature of the lives in this

part of the world. Children are most vulnerable and most affected in this

environment. Demographically, Uganda has one of the youngest populations in the

world. Given that 75.1%of the population is under 30 years, 56.7% below years,

18.4% between 18 and 30 years, there is a visible concern regarding the nurture

and direction of this young population amidst their life’s situation. FWF in

collaboration with likeminded partners is in continued and concerted effort to

arrive at a spiritual and professional platform to address societal challenges.

Community is engaged through child centered programs as a way for individuals to

attain their full potentials.
