Touch Children Foundation We are a “Christ-centered foundation that is transforming lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. founding father, orphaned at age 13.

We believe that through working with the church and people of Uganda, and you! together we can give hope, faith and love to orphans. It is said that ‘necessity’ is the mother of all inventions, and its ironical that I begin this story with the name of one most important person in anyone’s life ‘mother’. Because I lost mine when was so little, that her memory of her is often rekindled when I see th

e old photos that I hold and cherish as my most valuable treasurers that I have? Back to necessity, without needing things, we would never feel the obligation of inventing! It’s under this line that I personally decided to start this orphanage, because I see the need for orphaned children to have a loving home! I look in the faces of the over 30 orphans that we have and I see myself in each and every one of them. Sometimes I feel that my story of early orphan hood has been broken into over 40 tiny fragments and each given to these little souls that I feel obliged to change their destinations. Every night I tell them inspiring stories that are real, for example, few people even know that amongst the greatest people in our world, were once orphans! People like Steve jobs (iPhone founder), Marilyn Monroe and James bond and john Lennon, (although few of them know who these people are but they understand that they can grow to be great inventors, musicians and actors. Then for those that tell me they want to be leaders, I tell them that there is Andrew Jackson alexander Hamilton, U.S. And perhaps the most influential personality of our time Nelson Mandela was an orphan too. I see their faces light up with what I believe is hope and when I read to them what GOD says in the holy script they all clap and shout ….can you imagine what GOD says IN …Psalms 68:5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. They are assured that up there, there is someone watching and being a father to each of them! And for you out there I can tell you this ……Serve Christ by serving others. Have empathy for the fatherless. God will not forget your kindness. The following verse comes from a passage in Deuteronomy where God is instructing his people about tithing. Deuteronomy 14:29 says,” And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.”
You are all called by God to remember children living as orphans in your giving. Show Hope provides creative ways to give to the work of orphan care. God may be calling you to care for children living as orphans, take heart. He who calls you to this work will be faithful to equip you for the work he has called you to.
“For the God who calls you is faithful, and He can be trusted to make it so.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:24
