This World Lupus Awareness Month, Lupus Initiative Uganda is raising awareness for the thousands of people silently living with lupus and other invisible disabilities.
Too many women and young people suffer without understanding, support, or timely diagnosis. Many face stigma, isolation, financial hardship, and emotional exhaustion simply because their illness cannot always be seen.
At Lupus Initiative Uganda, we are working to change that.
Through awareness, advocacy, education, and community support, we are helping people living with lupus feel seen, heard, supported and empowered.
This month, we are calling for:

💜 Early diagnosis and better healthcare access
💜 Inclusion and dignity for people with invisible disabilities
💜 Stronger support systems for women and youth affected by chronic illness
