Join us to save children at Bubbala village in Bugweri district! The village has only one public school with only 3 classroom blocks accomodationg about 1000+ children!
●Children keep at school from morning to afternoon on empty stomachs
●85% of the children do not have shoes and walk bare footed to and from school.
● Most of them put on torn clothes an indication of the need for better clothing.
●A number of children are affected with Jiggers because of poor feet health which affects their health and stability in school.
●A number of them can not enroll into a public school because they lack books, pencils and pens!
This all explains the alarming levels of poverty and poor livelihoods residents face in this community.
We are launching the "Save my feet" project in which we hope to raise about 5000 pairs of shoes for the children and some scholastic materials like books, pencils and pens to help these children get to school and improve their feet health.
