We highlight the participation of CWEN-supported MSMEs under the Nutrition Impact at Scale (NIS) Project at the recent by Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition - Uganda, marking a significant milestone as one of the first events of its kind in Uganda. The Expo provided a powerful platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their products, build strategic market linkages, and engage with key stakeholders across the value chain. Beyond business visibility, this participation directly reflects the core objective of the NIS Project: integrating nutrition perspectives with market systems development for sustainable economic growth.
By supporting MSMEs in sectors such as peanut, fish, pineapple, and soya value chains, CWEN is strengthening entrepreneurs' capacity to deliver safe, nutritious, and market-ready products. This approach not only enhances business performance but also contributes to improved nutrition outcomes within communities.
The demonstrated what is possible when innovation, entrepreneurship, and nutrition are aligned, creating pathways for resilient enterprises and healthier societies. We remain committed to helping women and MSMEs thrive and to driving inclusive, sustainable development. #
