Youth Working Group Sessions | Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) – EYE 4 SDGs Project

We successfully conducted Youth Working Group Sessions and Focus Group Discussions under the EYE 4 SDGs Project, bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds to share experiences, identify gaps, and co-create solutions around key Sustainable Development Goals.

The discussions focused on SDGs 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, and 17, with youth voices shaping priorities on health, education, gender equality, decent work, inclusion, climate action, and partnerships. These sessions provided a safe and inclusive space for meaningful dialogue, evidence-based insights, and youth-led recommendations to inform advocacy and action.

This engagement reinforces our commitment to meaningful youth participation, accountability, and inclusive development. When youth are listened to, policies and programs become more responsive and impactful.

Together, we are empowering young people to lead change and drive progress toward the SDGs.

HARD Uganda is excited to announce our upcoming Women Engagement Forum (Dialogue) taking place on 4 December 2025 at the Omugo Zone Base Camp – OPM Hall, starting at 9:00 AM.

This year’s forum is held under the theme: “Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls.”
The dialogue will focus on strengthening women’s digital safety, promoting responsible online behavior, and addressing the rising cases of online abuse that undermine women’s dignity, rights, and participation.

In addition, the forum will highlight the critical link between women’s safety and anti-corruption efforts, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and the protection of women’s voices in both digital and public spaces.

We invite all participants to join us as we share experiences, exchange solutions, and build a safer, more inclusive digital environment for women and girls.

Let us unite to end digital violence and strengthen anti-corruption efforts for a more just and equitable society.

📚 BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN – 15th September 2025 📚

Education is the foundation of a brighter tomorrow. It shapes character, opens opportunities, and builds resilient communities. As the new school term begins, HARD Uganda calls upon every parent, foster parent, guardian, and community leader to rise to the occasion and ensure that every child returns to school.

👉 School officially resumes on 15th September 2025.

This is a call to action for all of us to play our part. Let us not allow poverty, chores at home, early marriages, or negative community practices to deny our children their right to education. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream of a better future.

We urge:

Parents and Foster Parents to prepare school materials and encourage children with love and support.

Guardians and Relatives to take responsibility for children under their care and make school attendance a top priority.

Community Leaders to set the example by mobilizing families, monitoring school attendance, and protecting children’s right to education.

Remember, when one child is denied education, the whole community loses. But when we send our children to school, we invest in peace, development, and prosperity for all.

✨ Together, let’s make 15th September 2025 the day we recommit to education, hope, and opportunity.
✨ Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and create a community where every child thrives.

Let’s act now. Let’s send our children back to school.
