We wrapped up the Eastern Regional Youth Climate Council Uganda Consultation & Local Conference of Youth ( ) in Soroti City!
👥 Hosted by YLEC Uganda, the consultation brought together passionate young people from across the region to critically assess Uganda’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) through a youth-led lens, driving forward bold, inclusive, and actionable climate solutions.

Key thematic focus areas included:
🔹 Green Jobs & Climate-Smart Livelihoods
🔹 Renewable Energy Transitions
🔹 Carbon Markets & Carbon Credits

📍The consultations continue on June 5th at Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, hosted by Solve and Flourish Africa (SOLFA) — focusing on amplifying refugee youth voices and co-developing climate solutions that reflect their lived experiences and resilience.
