Every child deserves dignity, health, and a chance to thrive.

With the generous support of PBF, we successfully distributed heifers to caregivers of children living with disabilities. This is more than just livestock—it is a lifeline. These heifers will provide nutritious milk for the children, strengthen their health, and create a sustainable source of income for their families.

For many of these households, this support means hope restored, burdens eased, and a future that looks brighter than before.

🌿 A Cry for Help: The Story of Little Akello Hellen 💔

This is Akello Hellen, a beautiful and innocent little girl who is only 2 years old. At an age when children should be laughing, playing, and discovering the world around them, Hellen is instead fighting a painful and mysterious skin condition that no one in her community seems to understand.

Since she was born, Hellen’s parents have watched helplessly as her skin slowly changed. It became fragile, painful, and covered with severe lesions that make even the simplest touch uncomfortable. Her eyes struggle to stay open, and her small body carries a burden no child should ever have to endure.

Her parents are simple people living in a rural village. They have done everything they can. They have walked long distances to small clinics. They have asked for help from different health workers. But everywhere they go, the answer is the same — no one seems to know what the condition is or how it can be treated.

Day after day, they watch their little daughter suffer, feeling powerless and heartbroken. The family does not have the financial means to travel to larger hospitals or access specialized medical care that might help diagnose and treat Hellen’s condition.

Yet despite all this pain, Hellen is still fighting. Behind her fragile body is a little life that deserves a chance — a chance to receive proper medical care, a chance to heal, and a chance to grow up like every other child.

Today, we are sharing Hellen’s story with hope in our hearts. Hope that someone out there — a doctor, a medical specialist, a hospital, or a compassionate supporter — may see this and help guide us toward the medical care she desperately needs.

No child should suffer simply because their family cannot access the help they need.

Anayo is a child whose life began with silence.

She did not ask to be born into hardship. She did not ask for a body that struggles to move. She did not ask for a mother who would one day walk away and never return.

Today, Anayo lives in a small grass-thatched house, hidden from the world. Her father — the only one she has — earns less than a dollar a day. Every morning, with a heart heavier than words can describe, he gently lays her down, whispers a prayer, and locks the fragile wooden door behind him.

Not because he does not love her.

But because survival leaves him no choice.

He walks to people’s gardens, offering his labor for a few coins, while his helpless daughter waits alone in the darkness. She cannot run outside. She cannot follow him. She cannot even understand why the world feels so quiet and empty.

Anayo spends her days staring at the same walls, listening to distant sounds of life she cannot reach — children playing, voices laughing, footsteps passing by.

And a father who worries every moment he is away.

He worries if she is safe.
He worries if she is crying.
He worries if he will earn enough that day to bring home food.

This is not just poverty.

This is a daily battle between love and impossibility.

No child should grow up locked away from the world.
No father should have to choose between earning bread and protecting his disabled child.

Yet this is the reality for Anayo and many families like hers.

Their pain is quiet. Their struggle is unseen. Their hope depends on the kindness of strangers.

In the most hard-to-reach villages, children living with disabilities are surviving a life most of us will never see.

No wheelchairs.
No medical care.
No school.
No voice.

Some are carried on their mothers’ backs long past childhood. Others are hidden indoors—not because they should be, but because poverty leaves families with no options. Poverty is not just lack of money; poverty is a disease—one that multiplies disability, stigma, and suffering.

These children did not choose this life.
Yet they pay the highest price.

Every day, I meet children whose only crime is being born with a disability in a place where help feels impossibly far away. Still, I see hope in their eyes—the hope that someone, somewhere, will care enough to act.

May God see these children.
And may He move hearts through us.

Too often, children living with disabilities are neglected, ignored, and treated as a burden or even a curse to their families. Some are hidden away, locked indoors for years, denied the chance to play, learn, and grow alongside other children. Many children with physical disabilities are kept out of sight, their voices unheard and their dreams forgotten.

At Action of Love International, we are standing against this injustice. We are fighting for their dignity, their rights, and their future. Every child deserves love, protection, education, medical care, and the opportunity to belong.

Some stories break you… others move you to act.
Hellen’s story does both.

In a forgotten corner of our country, far from clinics, hope, and any form of support, lives Amulen Hellen — a single mother fighting a battle no mother should ever face alone.

She has three precious children, each carrying a heavy burden.
One little girl is blind… two others cannot walk.
Yet every day, Hellen lifts them, feeds them, comforts them, and whispers promises she is struggling to keep.

They live in a remote village where medical help is a dream… where mobility aids don’t exist… where poverty is not just a condition, but a prison. And still, Hellen wakes up each day with courage that breaks your heart.

Her pain is quiet. Her tears are unseen. Her strength is unimaginable.
But behind that strength is a mother who is drowning in need.

And Hellen is not alone — more than five families around her are trapped in the same suffering, waiting, praying, wondering where their help will come from.

No child deserves to grow up in darkness, pain, or hopelessness.
No mother deserves to carry this weight alone.

Today, I share Hellen’s story because she cannot speak for herself.
Because her children cannot.
Because their hope depends on hearts willing to see them.

Families in Desperate Need After Deadly Floods in Eastern Uganda 💔

In the past few days, floods have swept through villages in Eastern Uganda — destroying homes, crops, and dreams. Many families are now sleeping in the cold, with no food or shelter.

Last week, Action of Love International reached out to rescue and support affected families — providing tents, blankets, food, cooking oil, soap, and sugar to help them survive this tragedy.

The joy and tears of gratitude from the beneficiaries remind us that love in action changes lives. 💛

We are deeply thankful to all our partners- PBF, local leaders, and volunteers who stood with us during this difficult time. But the need is still great — many more families remain stranded and hungry.

Save Little Ajalo Joyce’s Heart 💔

Friends, family, and kind-hearted people around the world,

This is a humble and urgent appeal to help Ajalo Joyce, a beautiful 9-year-old girl from Uganda who is fighting for her life. Joyce has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition, and doctors have referred her to India for urgent heart surgery.

But her family is living in deep poverty — they cannot afford the medical bills, travel costs, or even the basic documents needed to get her to India for treatment. Every passing day is a struggle as her fragile heart grows weaker.

Joyce dreams of growing up, going to school, and playing like other children — but that dream is fading fast unless we act now. 💔

We are reaching out with tears in our eyes, asking for your love, prayers, and support to help raise the funds needed to save Joyce’s life. No contribution is too small — together, we can give her the chance to live, laugh, and see a brighter tomorrow. 🌈
