📣 RHOI-Uganda Welcomes Dr. Klaus Bender!

We are delighted to announce the official integration of Dr. Klaus Bender into our senior management team as the Director of Strategy and Partnerships!

Dr. Bender, a long-time friend and passionate humanitarian, visited Uganda with his wife from 28th May to 22nd June 2025. Their comprehensive needs assessment in Serere District brought valuable insight into the challenges and strengths of our communities.

Together, they engaged with staff, volunteers, and local leaders—bringing not just technical expertise, but also warmth, humility, and compassion.

With Dr. Bender now on board, we look forward to deepening partnerships and amplifying our mission to create lasting, inclusive impact.

RHOI-Uganda Hosts Dr. Klaus and His Wife for a Transformative Visit! 🇺🇬🇩🇪

We were honored to host Dr. Klaus and his wife, a remarkable couple working with Nepal-Inzlingen (Germany) and sent to Uganda under the auspices of SES-Germany (Senior Experten Service).

From May 28th to June 22nd, 2025, they supported RHOI-Uganda in carrying out field assessments and offering expert advice across our programs in healthcare, education, WASH, and skills development.

🤝 Key highlights:
- Community-level needs assessments
- Strategic planning and knowledge sharing
- Engagements with staff, leaders, and beneficiaries
- Strengthened partnership between RHOI-Uganda, Nepal-Inzlingen, and SES
