Rukungiri has 3 constituencies that is Rujumbura that has 5 subcounties, Rubabo with 4 and the Municipality with 5 divisions. With the changing environment, the dynamics of politics, mobilization and recruitment especially among the youths has completely changed. The constant start up and formation of different political parties and the increasing number of pressure groups all targeting the most v
ulnerable, young, and energetic groups especially the youths has not only led to the disorientation of the mindset but it has also systematically led to divisionism of innocent youths, young and old based on religious, political and tribal lines. The spreading of wrong propaganda and misleading information has massively resulted into the constant growths of opposition against the ruling NRM government which has in one way or the other halted the implementation of the good youth’s programs being formulated by the NRM government. It’s from this thorny background that young, intelligent,motivated patriotic and intellectual youths in their wisdom established a strong Force/Front to vividly counter attack and crush the wrong and Dirty Propaganda through spreading the Right NRM ideology of Patriotism, Democracy, Unity, Pan-Africanism, Social economic Transformation, Enhancement of Career guidance, Discipline and promotion of self-Education through voluntary rural/ community orientation programs and dialogues among others. The above is evidenced by the field research and survey carried out by the Advocacy Team among the majority youths of Kigezi and later found out that the majority of our fellow youths only appreciate and take serious any guidance and information that is provided to them only when it is clearly disseminated by their fellow youths who belong to their generation and who clearly understand their generational challenges and achievements.
