A beautiful day on the field with our girls’ team. ⚽❤️

For us, football is not just about winning games. It is about giving girls a chance to be seen, heard, and believe in themselves.

Here in Nakivale, girls do not always get the same opportunities as boys to take part in sports. That is why we keep encouraging them to play, dream big, and believe that they can become great players.

We are proud to see their confidence growing every time they step onto the field. Who knows? One day, some of these girls may inspire many others through their talent.

This work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality by creating equal opportunities for girls through sport.

We believe to achieve something that is hard to believe.⚽️

Last week was truly an amazing moment welcoming the District Rotaract Representative at New Talent for the Best Future. We were so happy to have her with us.

Together, we planted a tree for the next generation. This simple action inspired the children and youth to care for our environment, believe in their dreams, and work together to build a better future.

Every tree we plant today is a hope we grow for tomorrow. 💚

GAME BEYOND THE GAME
Game Beyond the Game reflects the bigger purpose of this initiative beyond the football matches themselves.
The game brings young people from refugee and host communities together, but the impact we want goes further. Through football, we create opportunities for young people to build friendships, practice teamwork, respect differences and promote peace within the community.
The initiative also creates space for access to information. Through CAMPUS Digital Hub and ConnectRefugee, participants and community members can discover trusted and relevant information that can support their daily lives and opportunities.
This is why Game Beyond the Game is a strong name for the partnership and the activity. The game represents football, while beyond the game represents the wider purpose: peace, unity, community connection and access to information.
The name also gives the initiative room to grow. It can begin with football in 2026 and later include other youth, peace, community and information activities without losing its identity.

We are very happy to see our children taking their end-of-term exams. Reaching the end of the term is a great achievement for both the children and our team. These exams give us an opportunity to assess what the children have learned, understand their progress, and identify areas where they may need more support.

Beyond the exams, we are proud of their commitment, hard work, and determination throughout the term. Every lesson, activity, and challenge has been part of their learning journey. We believe that education is not only about passing exams, but also about building confidence, discovering talents, and preparing children for a better future.

Sharing, Creativity & Dreams

It was a wonderful day of sharing and learning with Coach Owen. We explored the power of storytelling and creative writing, learning how children can use their words and imagination to express their experiences, dreams, and hopes for the future.

Creative writing gives children a voice. It helps them tell their stories, build confidence, and imagine the future they want to create. At New Talent for the Best Future, we continue to inspire young people to discover their talents, express themselves, and believe that their dreams are possible.✍🏾📚✏️
