Three months to go, and we have only raised €20 toward hosting this event. Our total budget is €5,000, leaving us with €4,980 still to raise.

Our region is currently being severely affected by drought. The recent rainfall we received has not been enough to address the situation, which is hindering the efforts of our vegan women’s groups in maintaining their veganic gardens.

We continue to encourage the groups to water their gardens whenever possible, especially those who have access to reliable water sources.

In the pictures, you can see a sukuma wiki plant that we photographed on Sunday, shortly after the rain, compared with the same plant that we photographed today. The difference clearly shows the impact of the dry conditions on our gardens.

As of today, 18th August 2026, we have only secured €20 as the sole donation for our vegan festival. We have not yet received sponsorship from any organisation, but we hope that with your small donation we can still make it happen.
