We want to provide a better education to those children!
Juliet Donkare is a strong woman from the small town of Paidha in Uganda. With a lot of commitment and determination, she has been trying to raise funds to invest in construction materials, school supplies, and medical care supplies to build a school in her village. Her dream is to give to more than 40 children and teenagers between the ages of 2 and 18 years the chance to have a decent future through education.
We need your support for the first and main step: the construction of the school. Our goal is to maintain the project with resources from the exportation of the local tea, coffee and also Juliet’s handicrafts, such as clothes and accessories. Thus we will become independent of the donations, allowing the development of other educational projects in the future.
Nowadays, the school is a precarious house without any structure. There are no school supplies, such as proper chairs and tables, blackboards, books, nothing. We want to build a permanent building and equip it with at least the basics to get it working asap.
The Donkare Care Child Foundation was created with the mission of investing in children's education by providing access to school and promoting culture through sports, music, and dance. The non-profit Foundation works to ensure that low-income children and abandoned children have access to education by guaranteeing them inclusion in the social environment and providing information, knowledge and skills development.
