Making someone grateful isn't a mere joke, there are efforts that are put in to put this to reality.
Allen's Life has been not so much good, she had always requested to be supported but we had no way out
A helping hand came as a miracle, now Allen is rejoicing and very happy about the new house, sleeping on a nice bed and as of today, she is still thanking Almighty for the support.
We are grateful as well because our hope is seeing those we serve when they are happy.

This is Muhawe Allen from Rukeri Batwa Community.
Recently, she got a donation from our friends Leon & Stephanie, they visited our community and felt concerned by the condition Allen and her family were living in. It was rainy season and could have comfortable nights.
Allen has 6 children, this makes a family of 7 who were occupying that small. House. We are grateful for this support and may God bless their efforts.

Yesterday, our programs Coordinator Mbereyinka Bernard had good time with pupils at Virunga Massif Community.
Making Children smile is our happiness and goal too. We would like to appreciate your kind support that has made us to always provide for needs of these children. We can't do it without you. We are grateful for your support.

Yesterday, it was a day of gifts, our friend Kagumba Andrew sent in money to buy escorts/mandazi for pupils during breakfast.
Andrew is our former volunteer who has since turned a friend and is passionate about making the children at Virunga Massif Community School happy.
It should be noted that children at our community school receive breakfast and lunch from our friends Children of Kigezi Foundation. This support has been coming since 2020 when our school was formed and we are grateful for continued support, partnership and collaboration.

Yesterday, Virunga Massif Community School pupils received 2 boxes of books 1 box of pens and one box of pencils from Bashem Safaris Tours and Travel through CEO Emmanuel Bash*tsi currently in Ottawa United States of America. In his absence, children appreciated him for continuous support.
Its not the first time Bashem Safaris Tours and Travel is supporting our communities, it's such an incredible company which has business and community tourism component. Choosing to travel with them is the best choice since part of the money you pay goes towards supporting people in need. The CEO said that soon they will sign an MOU with our organization so that their guests always make it a point to visit our projects and show support once in Uganda. We will be grateful for that and we would like to appreciate them for that.

Yesterday, while in Rukeri Batwa Community, I witnessed something unusual, as it threatened to rain, I saw these children coming from other people's tree shamba, they were carrying piles of fire wood.
Since 1991 when Batwa were pushed out of the forests, they have been living as squatters, they have not had time to settle down and do something meaningful.
With your support, we can change this story, when you donate tree seedlings, we will plant many trees around the batwa community so that in the near future, they can get firewood without hustle.
$200 can make a good tree planting project.
This activity of collecting firewood has direct impact on education of our children, at first they have to hustle to get food, and then firewood, so sometimes, children are absent while trying to support their parents get either food or firewood.
