With Support from Children of Kigezi Foundation, children from Virunga Massif Community School received a new pair of school uniforms today.
We are grateful to people who contributed towards this project of buying uniforms.
Our pupils were very happy after receiving the uniforms

Monday 14th September 2026 is the opening of the 3rd term. Virunga Massif Community School, a community school which was started with purpose to promote inclusive education and empowering the Batwa/pygmy and other vulnerable children through education will also open.
There is a lot of work which has been done in improving quality education and access especially in the rural communities where our school is located. We thought about letting you know that with support from Children of Kigezi Foundation, we have been able to provide these children with breakfast, lunch, school uniforms, buying scholastic materials, paying staff, provision of free medical services to mention but a few.
This education project has attracted close to 140 pupils who are spread across pre primary, and primary level sections.
We understand that we can't do this alone, since 2020, we have moved a long way, if it wasn't the support from people, friends, and wellwishers, we would not have created this Impact.
We are happy that you have generously supported and would still like to request for your support to help us be able to complete our classes, buy books, pens, pencils, buy desks/seats for pupils to sit comfortably on while in class and as well construct more classes at Virunga Massif Community School because what we have is not enough.
The work we will do together will glorify almighty God. Thank you.

During this prolonged dry season, since we have only one rain water harvesting tank that serves Rukeri Batwa Community and Virunga Massif Community School, we are now constrained, we have run out of water supply because of high demand from community members.
We thank the Children of Kigezi Foundation that gave us this donation which helps us prepare meals for pupils at Virunga Massif Community School, supports our construction projects, supports the Batwa in their domestic work and personal hygiene and sanitation.

Kisoro Concern For Marginalized People Organisation is currently plastering classes at Virunga Massif Community School.
The school is located on the foothills of Muhabura and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
This school is providing inclusive quality education to children from indigenous Minority batwa and other children from humble families.
We do not have enough funds to work on these classes, we depend on financial support from people like you.
Do you think it's something that you would like to support?
We are looking for close to $1,000 (3,600,00)UGX to help us plaster classes, put the floor inside and paint outside so that children can use the outside learning environment pictures and designs.

Dear friends, wellwishers and partners, we would like to introduce to you our new project Nurse Ms Nyiramunezero Sarah. Ms Nyiramunezero Sarah joined us this week to support extension of health services to members of Rukeri Batwa Community and pupils at Virunga Massif Community School.
Nurse Nyiramunezero Sarah comes with experience having worked in other areas and hospitals which she would like to use to serve the people we serve better.
We would therefore like to welcome her to our home and pledge our full commitment and support.
