Every day, young girls in Uganda are victims of defilement, often by those they trust most. At Dinah’s House, we’ll offer a safe refuge where they can heal, find justice, and regain their voices.

It’s that time of year again when the trees are fashioned, the lights are winking and festive music fills the air. It is easy to get caught up in all the hustle and bustle and forget about those who struggle to see any joy.

This year we have set a challenge and we hope to have many of our friends, family, partners and supports join us in raising enough funds to help brighten the lives of elderly widows in Uganda 🇺🇬

We currently have monthly support for 10 widows but always need more sponsors. Last week we began work in a nearby slum to where we reside. It was heart breaking to see the state these widows are in.

This Christmas we want to be able to give out at least 50 Christmas parcels. We can only do this with your support.

So we are asking you to gather five friends and each of you donate a minimum of $5. When you accept this challenge you increase your $5 gift to $30 joined by your five friends. If you can each give more than $5 that would be fabulous but we understand that December is a busy expensive month so $5 seems doable for most people.

Will you join us in this Christmas Widow’s Challenge? Get five friends or do it as a family, collect some bottles to return or roll some spare change. ❤️🇨🇦🇺🇬
