SUNDAY 10TH/5/2026-MAINTAING THE BLESSING OF TITHING AND GIVING (Mal 3:7-10, Lev 27:30-34)
Intro: When God asks us to give tithe and offerings to Him, He is not asking us to do so because He is in lack but is looking for a means of blessing us (Psalm 50:9-12, Haggai 2:8).
He wants us to bring tithe and offerings into His house so that when there is food in His house, He realizes the blessing unto us (Malachi 3:10)
Note the following about tithing and giving:
1. Tithing is a sign of gratitude to God.
*Knowing that all you get comes from God. And since all comes from Him, you remove His portion first.
2. God planned that tithing and giving offerings would sustain the work in His temple.
- To care for Levites- ministers in the temple (Malachi 3:10- ".... there may be food in my house...")
- The poor and needy.
-The services conducted in the temple/ministry.
* When you tithe and give in your church you show that you're responsible and care for the progress of your church.
3. God planned that His people would be blessed through tithing and giving to His house.
*When we don't tithe and give properly, we block our own blessing.
*Therefore, let us do the correct calculation of tithe so that we don't miss the blessing (Leviticus 27:30-34, Mal 3:10)
- It has to be every tenth one and if it is not a full tentth then it is not a tithe.
Warning!!!!
* Avoid Satan's temptation of spending the money you get before removing God's portion.
* Avoid Satan's statement that you can't tithe because you don't have enough money.
Be faithful with the little and that means you will be faithful with much also.
* Spend your money according to the budget E.g:
a. Tithe, offering, pledges
b. Saving
c. Other expenses.

SUNDAY 3/5/2026 MAINTAINING THE BLESSING OF THE LORD
Intro: The bible has principles which when followed carefully can help one get the blessing of the Lord and also maintain it. These are:
1 .Not walking in the ways of the wicked (Psalm 1:1-2).
That means that you should keep walking in the ways of the Lord
Avoid all evil and also avoid walking with evil people.
Because bad company ruins good morals (1 Cor 15:33).
2. Continual obedience to the voice of the Lord (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).
The moment you stop obeying the Lord, curses begin coming your way.
God continued blessing Abraham because of obedience. But his offspring disobeyed God and saw God's anger burning against them.
3. Continual tithing and giving (Malachi 3:10-12)
God is not in lack so that He asks us to tithe or give to Him (Psalms 50:10-12).
He looks for ways of blessing us.
If you want to stay blessed always, maintain a tithing and giving spirit.
4. A heart of gratitude. Keep thanking God and acknowledging that every blessing you have got has come from Him.
Don't boast about the blessing the Lord has given you or else you will loose it.
Stay humble because pride leads to a fall (Proverbs 16:18).
5. Delight yourself in the Lord and in His word (1 Kings 2:2-4, Psalm 1:2).
He will keep blessing you when you keep maintaining your love for God and His word- when you make Him and His word a priority in your life.
Conclusion: Everyone who continues to walk in the ways of the Lord and in His word, being humble and obedient to Him, tithing and and being generous will stay blessed the rest of their life and God will not leave such a person. So let's choose to do that always.

SUNDAY 25/4/2026 THE BLESSING OF THE LORD
Intro: The blessing of the Lord is the presence of God upon a person that causes what he/she does to prosper (Gen 39:2-4)
Points to note about the blessing of the Lord:
1. The blessing of the Lord cannot be cursed or bewitched (Numbers 23:21-23)
God had blessed Jacob and that meant that even his offspring was blessed. Therefore no one could curse or bewitch them. See the blessing of Jacob in Genesis 32:22-30). God blessed him there.
Balak hired Balaam to curse the Israelites the children of Jacob but he ended up blessing them since no curse can come upon the person God has blessed according to Numbers 23:21-23.
2. The blessing of the Lord comes with prosperity, riches, protection, peace, etc. (Proverbs 10:22).
Since the blessing of the Lord is God being with you and in whatever you do, you will be blessed wherever you go and in whatever you do. Even when you go out to preach the gospel, your feet will be blessed (See Isaiah 52:7)
3. The blessing of the Lord is maintained by continual listening and obeying of the voice of the Lord (See Deuteronomy 28:1-14).
The moment you stop walking in the ways of God, the Lord leaves you alone and curses begin to come to you and follow you wherever you go and in whatever you do (See Deuteronomy 28:15-68).
Therefore, be careful not to forget God after He has blessed you.
4. Anyone can ask for the blessing of the Lord and God will bless him/her (1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
As Jabez asked for the blessing and was blessed, so you can ask for the blessing of the Lord and you will be blessed (See John 14:13-14)
Prayer: Heavenly Father I ask that you bless me so that I will be blessed in whatever I do and wherever I go, in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

THE POWER OF TESTIMONY
Psalm 119:46
Intro.Testimony is the story to share what and how God has done for you to encourage or cause an impact on someone else who may be going through the same situation
To receive a testimony you MUST have passed a test so that you can be able to tell someone what you conquered.
_ The Importance of Testimonies to the world
1.It's the first sermon that one can share with people who knew you before, reflect on your old life and accept the God who transformed you.
2..Testimony is a weapon we use to show others the power of God who has helped us to overcome(Rev.12:11)
3.Testimony shows us life before,how, and after. (Isaiah 43:18-19)
a). What your life was before you knew Christ
b). How you met Christ
c).The transformed life after Christ
Example of people in the Bible who passed their tests with Patience
1.Joseph. Gen.50:20
2.Hanah. 1 Sam 1:20
3.Abraham Heb .6:15
4.Job. Job 42:10-17
Conclusion; Let's ask for the touching testimonies that can make other people to believe our God and get transformed.
