We are committed to improving living conditions of communities through empowerment while advocating for their needs and rights. OUR GOAL, VISION AND MISSION

Our goal is to improve living conditions of the elderly and the communities with basic aim of raising resources for the elderly, promotion of people's health and social life, extending a helping hand to senior citizens, bringing a change in

the perceptions about old age, improving on the learning skills of children (grandchildren) through our education support program, women's Empowerment, skilling the youth and other community development programs. VISION

We strive to create communities where all people are empowered and engaged, providing environments where all older persons have the opportunity to live fulfilled lives. MISSION

To achieve fundamental change in the lives of all people by empowering them to live full lives through engaging in innovative economic change and ensuring a safe and healthy life for all the elderly persons and their dependents.

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years. We put the family in prayer.

Her family gathered at her Scottish estate after concerns grew about her health earlier on Thursday.

The Queen came to the throne in 1952 and witnessed enormous social change.

With her death, her eldest son Charles, the former Prince of Wales, will lead the country in mourning as the new King and head of state for 14 Commonwealth realms.

In a statement, His Majesty The King said: "The death of my beloved mother Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.

"We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world."

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

"The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow."

In most African cultures, children (grandchildren) who are normally stubborn and always chaotic are always sent back to their grandparents in the village so that they are controlled, raised with some morals as well as impacting them with some manners and good behavior. The question is, where does this leave the elderly? Some are unable to live with children due to their health condition and issues associated with aging.
