New New New New

Towards the end of last year (2021), we got MOUs with Five Vocational schools here in Mukono and early this year, we started working on pre conditions for the MOUs to be executed.

I am happy to inform you that we are in the final phases of starting trainings with two schools which we feel they have fulfilled their obligations in regards to the signed MOU.

Last week, marked the end of the application process (many students applied) and next week we are to select students for our ice breaking and maiden entrepreneurship Academy for the Vocational schools.

We request for your prayers because it’s first of its kind and we expect to start in the first week of March.

Farming is one of the activities that our people have advantage in and given our fertile land blessed with two seasons a year. Early this years, we piloted a vegetable project where a group of women here in Mukono grow vegetables and sell them directly in the market on their market stalls. The 10 women we started with are thriving and doing so well. They are able to get vegetable for eating at home, sell get money to pay school fees for their children, they are able to save and above all they are empowered to make own life decisions. At this point we feel, if this project rolls out to entire village, it can have a greater social, financial and economic impact in the lives of women and youth in Maziba village. We need your prayers and financial support because here we don’t work alone, we believe in collective energies. God bless you all.
