Many people judged by their current circumstances appear to have limited capacity.

The challenge was creating pathways for that potential to flourish.

✨ Meet Dina, a young entrepreneur who turned her passion into a thriving business. Here she is training her students in knitting.

Last year, we supported 5 young innovators with hands-on training and startup capital, and Dina used hers to turn her knitting skills into school sweaters.

Today, she supplies 24+ schools, saves to expand her business, and trains other girls in knitting, empowering the next generation.

Her biggest challenge? Demand is bigger than her two knitting machines!

In Wakiso, our children are learning to create beautiful products while gaining practical skills for life.

They’re learning to make:
• Handcrafted accessories & jewelry
• Personal care & hygiene products
• Simple items they can use and sell

Through our Hope Innovators Initiative, we are helping children discover their abilities early through skills and creativity.

By the time they complete primary school, they are not just educated, they can create, express themselves, and begin to find their own path.

✨ 2025 Impact Snapshot | Hope & Care ✨

As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect on what is possible when hope meets action.

At Hope & Care, we serve vulnerable children, families, and communities through Care, education, and skills that lead to lasting transformation.

🌱 What we accomplished in 2025:
🍲 250,000+ meals served, supporting the health and wellbeing of orphans and struggling families.

📚 700+ children accessed affordable education across our two schools.

🎓 27 students received full sponsorship, opening doors to lasting opportunity.
➡️ 70 learners successfully transitioned to secondary school

💼 33 entrepreneurs trained to build sustainable businesses.
🚀 5 micro-enterprises launched, giving entrepreneurs a strong start.
🚜 A 1-acre irrigation system became operational at our farm.
💬 Many individuals received counselling, spiritual care, and mental-health support

These numbers represent real lives changed, real hope restored, and real stories of transformation.

🚀 Looking ahead to 2026, we are expanding our skills training programs to equip young people and families with tools for sustainable livelihoods and dignity.
