Wir nehmen Abschied von Georg Berger, der nach kurzer, schwerer Krankheit viel zu früh und völlig überraschend von uns gegangen ist. 😪
Georg war nicht nur ein geschätzter Mitmensch, sondern auch eine tragende Säule in unserem Verein ALCCU. Mit unermüdlichem Einsatz und großer Sorgfalt übte er das Amt des Kassiers aus. Sein Herz schlug besonders für unser Herzensprojekt in Uganda: Dank seiner gewissenhaften Arbeit konnten wir den Ausbau und den Erhalt der dortigen Schule sichern und zahllosen Kindern eine Perspektive schenken. ❤️
Wir verlieren mit Georg einen warmherzigen Freund. Sein Engagement für die Gemeinnützigkeit und sein Glaube an eine bessere Welt werden uns stets als Vorbild dienen.

Last Volunteers 2025 🌍☀️

We want to thank our 2 social Volunteers and 1 medical Volunteer from Austria for their amazing work in our ALCCU Primary and Secondary School, our Glorious Love Kindergarten & School and the Kajjansi Health Center, last year. Clara, Paula and Oana stayed together for some weeks in Uganda. ❤️

CLARA (Teacher):
"From the very first moment, I was welcomed with open hearts and endless warmth. The hospitality I experienced here was truly unforgettable.
I collected so many beautiful memories and meaningful experiences that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. This journey touched my heart, opened my mind, and reminded me what truly matters.

PAULA (Matura):
“My two months in Uganda with ALCCU were a very special and life-changing experience. I spent most of my time in Kitende and two weeks in Mubende, where I saw many places around and learned a lot about daily life. I am very thankful that I was able to see the everyday life in the village and learned so much from the local people, their kindness, openness and strength. Some of my biggest highlights were the safari, gorilla tracking and Jinja – moments I will never forget.
What made this time truly special were the amazing people: the wonderful local team, especially Elvis, who was always there for us and showed us Uganda with so much heart. And the great connection with Clara and Oana – I am very grateful for this journey, the memories, and everything Uganda has given me.” ❤️🇺🇬

OANA (Nurse):
"The time I was able to spend in Uganda as part of my voluntary service at the health center shaped me both personally and professionally. I gained a wide range of experiences in different medical fields and was also able to work independently and make decisions on my own, which strengthened my professional skills.
The entire team—starting with the nurses, doctors, midwives, and other volunteers—welcomed me very warmly and kindly, which made my time there very enjoyable. It was especially interesting to get to know the different working methods and daily routines.....(more in comments)

🌟🎄Weihnachtsspendenprojekt❣️❄️

Für uns von ALCCU CARES liegt nun eine ganz besondere Zeit vor uns. Auch dieses Jahr möchten wir unseren Kindern und ihren Familien wieder eine kleine Weihnachtsfreude bereiten. Unsere Schule, welche derzeit 400 Kinder und Jugendliche besuchen, durfte in den vergangenen Jahren weiterwachsen und sich zu etwas Großartigem entwickeln. Wir haben dank eurer Hilfe im Februar 2025 die Sekundarschule mit 2 Klassen eröffnet! Damit unsere Schülerlnnen der Sekundarschule in die nächste Schulstufe aufsteigen können, möchten wir einen weiteren Klassenraum bauen.

Die Kosten für das Errichten belaufen sich auf ca. 57.000.000 Uganda Schilling (ca. 14.000 €). Außerdem möchten wir unsere Schulkinder heuer wieder mit einer unvergesslichen Weihnachtsfeier mit leckerem Essen, Musik, Tanz und kleinen Geschenken überraschen.
Mit jedem Euro ist viel geholfen, um die Zukunft und die Lebensqualität der nächsten Generation von Mubende zu steigern und die Augen der Kinder, Jugendlichen, sowie ihrer Angehörigen strahlen zu lassen.
Mit eurer Hilfe versuchen wir die nötige Summe dafür aufzubringen. Wir bedanken uns für Eure jahrelange Unterstützung. Ohne Eure Spenden wären wir nicht da, wo wir heute sind.

🎄🌟 Christmas Donation Project ❤️🎁

The days are getting colder and shorter, the first snowflakes dance across the sky and cover the landscape in a soft white blanket. There's a certain magic in the air - we all know it's time! Christmas is here and another year is entering its final spurt. ❄️

For us at ALCCU CARES, this is a very special time of year. Once again, we would like to bring a little Christmas cheer to our children and their families. Our school, which currently has 400 children and young people, has continued to grow in recent years and has developed into something truly wonderful. Thanks to your help, we were able to open the secondary school with two classes in February 2025! To enable our secondary school students to move up to the next grade, we would like to build another classroom. 🏗
The construction costs amount to approximately 57,000,000 Ugandan shillings (approx. € 14,000). We would also like to surprise our schoolchildren again this year with an unforgettable Christmas party featuring delicious food, music, dancing, and small gifts.🎄💝💫

Every euro goes a long way towards improving the future and quality of life of the next generation of Mubende and making the eyes of the children, young people and their families shine.

☀️WORK-CAMP 20. July - 9. August 2026☀️

We are happy to pronounce that another workcamp will take place in Uganda next summer!
The aim of the work camp is to build another classroom buildung for our secondary school so that the teenagers have the opportunity to continue their school education with us.

We would be very happy if you could support us again. We are looking for international volunteers who want to take part in the work camp for 3 weeks for 300€ and do voluntary work. 😊

This is what a typical day at the work camp might look like:
Preparing breakfast together
Then one group heads to the construction site while the others cook lunch (roles are swapped every day)
After lunch, everyone works together on the construction site
After school, it's time to relax, play with the schoolchildren, dance and laugh – or just chill out, go for a walk or read.
End the evening around the campfire, eating, listening to music, drumming...🔥🎶

✉️ Paten-Briefaustausch / Exchange letters❣️

Jetzt während des Workcamps haben wir den Patenkindern die Briefe ihrer österreichischen und deutschen Pat*innen ausgeteilt. Die Kinder brauchten etwas Unterstützung, um die Antwortbriefe zu schreiben. Die Freude war, wie jedes Jahr, unbeschreiblich groß und es war wunderschön die strahlenden und glücklichen Kinderaugen zu sehen!! 🤩✨️

AnotherLoveChildren’sCharityUganda is an Ugandan NGO with the focus on contributing to the improvement of orphans, vulnerable children and young people by providing free high-quality health care, education and a stronger economic position to enable them to fully realize their potential and enjoy productive lifes in society.

Our school at Kawuula/Mubende is a place of education, love and laughter and gives about 300 vulnerable children a safety and secure shelter. The 16 local staffmembers are constantly seeking to give their level best to give the children a good place to grow and to live a childrens’ life.

Meanwhile we are an international team with partners in Austria, Poland and Denmark. Our vision is to make a change by working together on various sustainable projects.
