Christmas is around the corner! Be a child's joy this Christmas 🎄 🎄
Every year for the past 5 years, we've held a children's Christmas party at Shepherds House, especially for the children who never leave Shepherds House, those whose families we can not trace, those who Shepherds House is their home, school, church, family, and everything!
Along with many more community children whose families can't afford even a special meal for them at Christmas !
We invite 300 children and end up with 500 children from far and beyond Bulyasi village, all anticipating a special meal and a simple gift for Christmas!
To most of these kids, if not all of them, this is the only gift they get to receive a year, this is the only time they get to celebrate, this is the only time they get a treat and feel loved!
We have worked with Abigail Johnson and Dawn Austin Rentrop all these years, teacher Abbie getting hundreds of dresses for the little girls and auntie Dawn getting hundreds of shirts and shorts for the little boys!
Their generosity and effort has always made Christmas a moment to look forward to fir the children!
This year, again we know we will have 500 kids or even more, at Christmas, as they have already started Checking on us, to see the preparations, they have hope, they look foward to this special day!
We need $1750 for a special meal, simple gifts and some bouncing castles fir the kids to play and just be happy, to make merry the moment fir them and give them the joy Christmas brings!
