Mityana Rural Sustainable Farmers Organization is fully engaged in translating global policies into regional actions; provide leadership and encouraging partnership in sustainable Agriculture, caring for the environment by inspiring information and enabling peasant farmers down in our rural villages by teaching them modern methods of farming so as to improve on their quality of lives. We emphasize
the idea of setting up modern Agriculture Cattle and Crop Farms multiplication strategy through use of farmer’s multipliers. However, we still do help farmers who are practicing both Beef and Diary Cattle by providing a comprehensive pests and disease identification system, conduct impact surveys, conduct cultivator evaluations on farms and on station including reactions to diseases and pests. For farmers who wish to start commercial farming, we monitor herbicides and pesticides usage on cattle and crops, helping them optimize its usage, conduct nutritional requirements trails, increase national capacity for the environment management and response emergencies. We raise awareness and enhance information exchange, promote the millennium of the World Bank’s dream like gender equality and empower women, ensure environmental sustainability and eradicate poverty and hunger in our community.
