There is an orphan crisis in Uganda. Currently the country is home to nearly 3.4 million children who have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS, extreme poverty and civil conflict. In fact, Uganda has the largest orphan population per capita of any country in the world.

Open Heart Orphanage Ministry is to support and empower hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda to lead successful and productive lives. What drives us is that all children in Uganda receive an education to become healthy, productive members of their community who assume leadership roles and positively impact Ugandan society.

Can I help Africa? How can I help Africa? well, there are many more things you can do to help Africa You can sponsor a child today. Deuteronomy 15:11 For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, “You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.”

There’s an urgent need to fund the education of these children who are currently in examination period, each of them need as little as $8 to fund her or his education in primary per month.
Each of these children have no sponsors whatsoever and unless God makes a miracle they will not sit exams on Monday 10th August 2026, you can be a one time sponsor to allow any of them sit their exams or become a monthly sponsor to some of them.
By just screenshot or get their photo to [email protected] or WhatsApp: +256753338731 and each child details will be sent to you as you start helping we encourage monthly sponsors to keep communicating to their sponsored children and the children will gladly communicate back.
