“Urgent Appeal: Help Save 4-Year-Old Joan Fighting for Her Life in ICU” 🙏
Dear friends and connections,
I rarely come here to ask for help, but today I am humbly reaching out for a 4‑year‑old girl named Joan who is fighting for her life.
Joan is currently in ICU due to severe sickle cell complications. She had started responding well to treatment, but when her care was interrupted because of unpaid hospital bills, her condition worsened. She experienced intense pain, difficulty breathing, fever, swelling, and extreme weakness. Doctors had to put her back on oxygen, blood transfusions, and fluids as they prepare her for a bone marrow transplant.
Every day in ICU costs 100,000 UGX, and the hospital requires an urgent deposit to continue her treatment without interruption. Without it, her recovery is at risk.
Joan is only four years old. She deserves a chance to live, to play, to grow, and to smile again.
We are raising funds online so that her treatment can be completed and she can be discharged from ICU and monitored safely without the constant pressure of hospital bills.
