ABOUT THE PROJECT.
On May 2025 Uganda received numerous number of refugees in the nakivale refugees settlement from democratic republic of Congo (they include orphans, widows, pregnant mothers, r***d girls with early pregnant and traumatised parents and children that has lost hope in themselves) whereby most of them used the church buildings as their sheltering habitant. However, they had nothing like food, clothing, drinking water, medicine among others. Local people called them ´´BAPHILLISUTI´´ local ward to mean dirtiness, foolishness, poorness, beggars and other wards to mean something bad because of the situation they were in.
Local churches took it in their hands to help them with psychosocial support, clothing, food, medicine, water among others to save their survival. Hence building up this HEBREW 13:16 project to use it collect supports from churches to serve these people.
The ‘‘HEBREW 13:16’’ project is designed to inspire and mobilise individuals to actively do good and share what they have with others in the communities.
It is based on the biblical principal in Hebrews 13:16 (‘‘Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.’’)
The project aims to foster a culture of kindness, generosity, and compassion, reflecting God’s love in practical ways.
The project is NOT built on the foundation of one church but standing on the foundations of whole churches.
