Prevention and Early Diagnosis of NCDs - PEDON Project Our objective is to reduce the incidence, complications and prevalence of diabetes and hypertension among the general population.

PEDON project is a partnership between FUMSA and IMCC to combat the increasing incidence of Non Communicable Diseases(NCDs) within Uganda. In 2015 we are implementing a pilot project in Busitema University under Busitema University Medical Students' Association (BUMESA) which was a great success. We were granted a partnership project (2016-2018) and with this we hope to reach more youths in Northe

rn, Central and Western Uganda most especially those in Secondary schools. We greatly appreciate the techinical advise provided by Uganda NCD Alliance(UNCDA), Uganda Diabetes Association (UDA).
