It is with sadness that we have learned of the death of Anne Clarke a friend of Holy Innocents from Northern Ireland. A colourful character who loved to dress up to brighten the lives of all the children.
“ To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people, the affection of children, to appreciate beauty and to find the best in others. To leave the world a bit better. This is to have succeeded. RIP Anne.

We are thrilled to announce that the Infant Critical Care Ward is open and operating at Holy Innocents Children's Hospital! Attached are photos of the blessing of the new 20-bed ward (each with its own incubator or radiant warmer), the Mbarara board of directors inspecting and accepting the ward becoming operational, and the first patients along with their families. We have been working toward this moment for several years! Now premature infants and other newborns in critical respiratory distress coming to Holy Innocents from other regional hospitals have a single dedicated facility at Holy Innocents where they can receive life-giving treatment. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this effort!
