Bugisu Muslim development centre is a Non-Governmental Organization that was established in2009 by a group of integrity/principled faithful people who saw the need to associate freely and serve the interest of the most vulnerable people by addressing plight of vulnerable communities in their underserved communities. ization with the government of Uganda File No: (S. 5914/9516) and Reg No: 5914/9034 under NGO board with registration ACT, CAP, 113. It was built on the principles and values of Islam to serve the interest of most vulnerable people regardless of race, color, religion, creed and tribes. The organization was majorly formed mainly to focus on improving the socio-economic life of rural community people through development in various aspects for self-reliance and empowerment especially for children, women and any other disadvantaged people. Objectives
To mobilize and sensitize the public on issues that affects them so as to make informed decisions
To help strengthen Islamic morals through Ramadan feeding, Qurbani and Daawa
To protect health and life
To support street children and any other marginalized vulnerable group of the community
To improve on farming techniques among the underserved communities by providing improved seeds and technologies to peasants
To access improved exotic animals to the vulnerable people
To create awareness on developmental issues e.g poultry, carpentry, crafts, bricklaying, saving and environmental protection
To sensitize the youth at both school and at home on HIV/AIDS pandemic through music, dance, drama and about positive living
To provide emergency relief Aid to victims of War, natural disaster and any other disaster
