RAIN-UGANDA Legal Status: RAIN-UGANDA is a registered NGO in Uganda.

RAIN-UG is an NGO in Uganda, registered in 2010 under the Non-governmental Organizations’ Registration Statute of 2006. RAIN-UG provides HIV education and screening and Cervical Cancer education and screening in rural areas in the 5 districts of Budaka, Mbale, Namutumba, Kibuku and Pallisa.

Today 1st December 2025, is world AIDS day.As RAIN Uganda secretariat We encourage the frontline health workers :*
1. To have sufficient stock of HIV testing kits for our mothers attending ANC even thru redistribution
2. Mothers attending ANC to receive an HIV test including their partners
3. Have sufficient ARVs for the mother and Nevirapine syrup for the babies who are exposed
4. Health education to the mothers and partners about adherence
5. Routinely we do babies follow up for conversion(EID services)
