Dear, Beloved Friend,
RE: INVITATION TO VISIT MAMA ALICE FOUNDATION NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MANAFWA UGANDA.
I hope you're doing well. I wish to continue sharing this meaningful initiative with you about Mama Alice foundation, nursery and primary school in Manafwa district, Eastern Uganda.
The community there faces significant challenges in accessing education, especially for young children. Many children from needy and vulnerable families struggle to afford or find suitable schools for early education and, thus you find many children in homes at a time when others from well to do families are in schools.
To tackle this issue, we started this school and currently, it is from baby to primary six. Our goal is to transform it into a center providing accesseble, free and quality education with a focus on holistic child development.
The school is in partnership with Vision Family Support group, a community based organisation also within Manafwa district that deals with improvement of wealfare development of needy and vulnerable families through education support.
The school seeks to identify support in the following;
1. Individuals that can support a child at school with 30$ every term for books, feeding and exam fees.
2. The school does not have enough class rooms and a library. So, we are lobbing for more class rooms and a library with text books.
3. The school has only 5 teachers who are volunteers and so, we are looking for more and a means of mortivating them financialy.
4. The school does not have a water source so, we are lobbing for tap water connection or borehole.
5. The school does not have electricity and so, it is difficult to enable our children adopt to digital world. Etc
I would greatly appreciate your support and guidance in sharing, planning, designing, and implementing our vision for the school.
Your expertise and advice would be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of offering accessible free and quality education to underprivileged children.
We reach out to you because, wevhave hope that you will assist us share this information to your friends outside there. I am a social development worker who believes that, many are willing to help in one way or the other to bring transformational development but, they have no access to this information.
I have therefore thev passion to help and develop communities as a social development worker.
