easier since MCCF Ugandan community has limited resources. MCCF provides a home, education and medical care for abandoned and impoverished children that transforms their lives. We also help single Mothers to empower them and keep families together. We provide part time child care and assistance. MCCF teaches the community about hygiene, contraception and HIV prevention. With our empowerment program, we're empowering the community with skills for self-sufficiency and sustainability. Our goal is to keep families together and raise children to become responsible adults by providing education, skills and opportunities to create a future they can be proud of.

The need to complete our orphanage remains. We began construction of our new orphanage last year after being told to leave the premises where we have been keeping children for 7 years. Now, the owner wants Mbale Child Care Foundation to relocate because they want to use their land. We started fundraising to construct a new orphanage to give a better home for our children. Our construction is at the roofing level, and we need your support to purchase iron sheets, timber, doors, and windows. We have opened a GoFundMe account for this cause, and we need your support to give these children a safe home. None of them deserves to be homeless. Meet this handsome young boy whom we named Destiny due to his story. Destiny is 2 years old. At the beginning of this year, a woman had been coming to MCCF several times while carrying this boy, seeking help to support her child. We used to send her back, reasoning that as MCCF, we are finding it difficult to support even our own children at the orphanage. This woman would come asking us to help her keep this child, to which we told her to wait. Her reason was that since she got pregnant and her husband went to South Sudan, she has not heard from him again, and it's been years, leaving her with nothing to feed her boy, making life difficult for her. We talked to her, guided her, and gave her reasons why we are unable to help her at the moment. She kept coming to us. On February 22nd, we woke up in the morning to find the boy near our compound. We worked with local leaders and traced her; all she needs is support for her boy. As MCCF, we decided to take Destiny in because we know what the result could be. This boy needs help. If anyone is willing to sponsor Destiny, please reach out to us, and we will keep sharing his story and keep you updated.

After 7 years in our current home, we must relocate. We have the land. We have the walls. Now, we just need the roof.

To ensure continuity of care, we urgently need to complete an emergency shelter for the children. Without this, they risk losing a safe and stable place to live.
