Mbale Child Care is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving vulnerable children, orphans, and girls in rural Uganda hope, love, education, and a brighter future. an orphanage and empowerment program in Mbale Uganda. Children of Mbale is NO longer in affiliation with FOCEI. MBALE CHILD CARE FOUNDATION continues to support the SAME children and community. Children of Mbale was created to obtain sponsors and fund raise easier since MCCF Ugandan community has limited resources. MCCF provides a home, education and medical care for abandoned and impoverished children that transforms their lives. We also help single Mothers to empower them and keep families together. We provide part time child care and assistance. MCCF teaches the community about hygiene, contraception and HIV prevention. With our empowerment program, we're empowering the community with skills for self-sufficiency and sustainability. Our goal is to keep families together and raise children to become responsible adults by providing education, skills and opportunities to create a future they can be proud of.

Some People Help Us When We Have Nothing 💛🙏

You all know that our children at Mbale Child Care Foundation were recently forced to leave the land where we had lived for the past 10 years. It was one of the most difficult moments we have ever faced.

In that difficult situation, we had to look for people who could at least open their homes and provide shelter for some of our children as we work hard to complete our new orphanage.

Among those who stepped forward was this elderly woman with a humble heart. Despite her own difficult situation and the limited space she has, she did not turn us away. She welcomed some of our children into her home and made room for them.

The photos below show how she prepares a meal for the children so they can sit together and eat. She may not have much, but she has given what she can and to us, that means everything.

This is a reminder that sometimes the people who have the least are the ones who give the most.

And one day, if God allows us to become the people we dream of becoming, we shall come back and take care of the people who took care of us when we had nothing.

We shall never forget the love, sacrifice, kindness, and support they have shown our children during our most difficult moments. When our time comes, we will make sure they know that their kindness was never forgotten. 💛🙏

May God bless this beautiful woman and everyone who has opened their hearts to our children. 🙏

Our children need love, prayers, and support now more than ever.

We are currently working to complete their new home, with urgent needs including labour, transportation, doors, windows, clean water, food, and basic necessities.

🙏🏽 PLEASE KEEP ONE OF OUR CHILDREN IN YOUR PRAYERS 🙏🏽

Dear friends, family, and supporters of Mbale Child Care Foundation,

We are asking you to please stop for a moment and pray for one of our children who is currently very sick. She is blind and has been in the hospital for the past three days, battling malaria and typhoid.

This morning, her condition became more serious because she did not have enough blood. The doctors became concerned about her situation, and we were transferred to another hospital so she could receive further treatment and care.

As a team, this has been very difficult for us to see. She is a precious child who has already faced so much in her young life, and right now she needs our prayers, love, and support more than ever.

🙏🏽 Please pray for her healing.
🙏🏽 Pray that God gives the doctors wisdom and strength.
🙏🏽 Pray that she receives the blood and treatment she needs.
🙏🏽 Pray for strength and peace for her during this difficult time.
🙏🏽 And please pray that God watches over all our children.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we are holding on to Jesus during this difficult moment. Lord Jesus, please touch our child, restore her strength, and give her healing. We place her in Your loving hands. ❤️‍🩹🙏🏽

GOD IS STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF RESTORATION ❤️
There are seasons when life feels heavy, when we feel rejected, forgotten, broken, or overwhelmed by everything we are going through. But even in those moments, God is still working behind the scenes.
Today, we thank You, Jesus, for every one of Your children who is going through a difficult season. Thank You for giving them strength when they feel weak, hope when they feel discouraged, and comfort when their hearts are hurting.

Help Us Bring Our Children Back Together

For years, the children of Mbale Child Care Foundation have grown up together as one family sharing meals, playing, learning, praying, and comforting one another.

But because of our current situation, these beloved children have had to be separated and placed in different homes. If you have ever grown up with someone you love and suddenly been separated by circumstances beyond your control, you know how painful this can be.

We are urgently calling upon individuals, organizations, churches, friends, and well-wishers to stand with us and help us complete our children’s home.

• Other essential finishing materials
