With seven years of experience in charitable organisations, he has actively contributed to making a positive impact on local communities. Watuwa Robert's professional journey includes roles such as Programme Officer at Hands Of Action Uganda in Mbale and Partnerships and Adaptation Manager at The African Church Rescue Missions (TACREM) in Iganga. These roles allowed him to become deeply involved in community development and build relationships that would later contribute to the creation of SOL Uganda.

In 2020, Watuwa Robert founded Seeds Of Love - SOL Uganda, a fully registered community-based organisation. Working in the disaster-prone Bugisu sub-region of eastern Uganda, SOL Uganda is dedicated to saving and transforming lives. The organisation focuses on emergency response, education and various development initiatives in districts such as Mbale, Bududa, Mbale City, Namisindwa, Manafwa, Bulambuli and Sironko.
