Access to clean water is essential for a healthy and prosperous society. Currently, Africa 🇺🇬 Uganda faces challenges in providing clean and safe drinking water, which leads to health problems and hardships, especially for women and children who often carry the burden of collecting water. This proposal aims to provide a sustainable solution to this problem by implementing a clean water project that will directly benefit a village population of approximately 3,000 people.

Distance to water sources: Villagers have to travel long distances to collect water, affecting productivity and school attendance.

Health impacts: Contaminated water has caused diarrhea, cholera and other diseases

The project will include the following steps:

Step 1: Feasibility Study

Conduct a study to identify the most feasible source of clean water (e.g., drilling a borehole, installing a water treatment system).

Assess potential water sources, required resources and costs.
