To promote youth empowerment, gender equality, entrepreneurship, leadership in Uganda through advocacy, networking and capacity building for both young women and men. Meet Hillary Mutonyi, one of the inspiring young people in the OFWW Fashion and Designing Skills Project.

Hillary started her journey through our project that empowers youth, women, and single mothers with practical skills for a better future. Today, she is focused, committed, and putting into practice the skills she is learning every day.

Her story is an inspiration to many other young people who come from humble backgrounds. She shows that with determination, hard work, and the right opportunity, success is possible.

Yesterday at Manafwa, Khabutola, we successfully trained over 47 students on the importance of savings and proper record keeping. The session was highly engaging, and all participants expressed appreciation for the knowledge gained.

One of the beneficiaries, Suzan, shared her excitement about the savings lessons and her intention to join a savings group to support her future plans. Linda highlighted how record keeping has opened her understanding of tracking stock, profits, and losses in business. Sarah Gift also appreciated the knowledge gained alongside her peers and committed to putting the lessons into practice.

Overall, the beneficiaries showed great enthusiasm and a strong willingness to apply these skills in their daily lives and future ventures.
