Two years ago, Veronica’s story could have ended too soon.

A teenage young girl, forced to drop out of school because her parents simply could not afford the fees and with the real risk of being married off before her dreams even had a chance to begin.

But today… Veronica is in Senior 2.
She is back in school.
She is smiling again.
She is dreaming again

Seeing her full of hope reminds us of the words of St. Thérèse: “The little we can do, we must do…” because even the smallest act of love can change a life.

And that is exactly what is happening one girl, one story at a time.

To all our friends and partners who continue to support this mission: thank you. Your generosity is not just paying school fees… it is restoring dignity, rebuilding dreams, and giving a future.

Let’s keep going. There are many more Veronicas waiting for a second chance.

We continue to walk hand in hand with incredible women in our communities by empowering them and securing futures through saving teaching, guiding, and encouraging them on the power of saving.

Through our village saving groups, we meet right at the schools, creating a safe and supportive space where women come together to learn, share, and grow. 📚💛

What may seem like small, consistent savings are transforming into something powerful school fees paid, children staying in class, and dreams kept alive.

For many mothers, saving is no longer just a habitit is a lifeline. It means no more sending children home due to unpaid fees.

It means dignity, confidence, and hope for a better future.
When a woman saves, a child stays in school.
When a child stays in school, a community rises.

It’s been a while since I last shared an update on our chicken project… and I’m excited to share some good news! 🐔🥚

Our chickens are doing well, growing strong, and we have officially reached a beautiful milestone — they are now laying eggs! 🎉

What started as a simple idea is now becoming a source of hope, learning, and sustainability. These eggs are more than just food

They represent progress, resilience, and the power of using local resources to create impact.

Through this project, we continue to equip women with practical skills, showing that with the right knowledge and consistency, small beginnings can grow into something truly life-changing.

We are grateful for every step of this journey and excited for what lies ahead. 💛

Happy New Month! May this April bring with it new beginnings, numerous opportunities, and countless blessings.

We are overjoyed to share this beautiful milestone in Delphina’s journey.

Delphina once faced the pain of dropping out of school and losing hope of ever becoming a nurse. But today, her story has taken a powerful turn. She is now filled with joy and renewed hope after receiving her admission to join nursing school for the July 2026 intake.

Her dream is alive again❤️ ❤️❤️❤️
This moment has not come easily. It is the result of courage, resilience, and a community that refused to give up on her.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has stood with Delphina along the way your encouragement, financial support, mentorship, prayers, and belief in her future have made all the difference.

Every act of kindness has helped rebuild her confidence and open this new door of opportunity.

A special thank you to Sue Atkinson for your unwavering support and generosity.

You have played a meaningful role in helping Delphina reach this important step, and we are truly grateful. 🙏

To all our friends and partners who continue to support girls through the Women Reliance Foundation this is the impact of your commitment. You are not just supporting education; you are restoring dignity, hope, and futures.

Delphina’s journey is a reminder that no dream is ever truly lost when a community stands together.
Thank you for believing in her.

We are excited to share highlights from last Friday’s Keep in School Program at St. Jane Francis Secondary School, Kirimya.

Over 250 Senior Two and Senior Three students participated in a Real Talk session on love, s*x, and marriage, learning the importance of setting standards for their s*xual lives.

Through these conversations, we empower young people to make wise choices, grow in confidence, and stay committed to their education. Together, we are shaping resilient communities. Let's keep girls in school.

Celebrate Christmas in Style as you impact lives.

We are looking for people of good will to Help Kevin Take Her Final Step this Christmas.

When COVID-19 hit, Kevin’s world fell apart.
She dropped out of school because her grandmother her only caregiver could no longer support her education. For a long time, her dreams felt out of reach… until she found purpose again through a hairdressing skill we helped her pursue.

Kevin is completing her training this December and she is ready to stand on her own feet.
But she cannot take the next step alone.

🙏 This Christmas, we want to gift Kevin a fresh start by helping her open her own a small salon. A place where she can earn a living, restore dignity, and support her grandmother who has sacrificed so much for her.

We are raising 3,000,000 UGX equivalent to ( 1000 dollars) to cover her salon equipment and 6 months of rent.

Every contribution, big or small, brings Kevin closer to starting her business and transforming her life, her family, and her community.

Will you be part of Kevin’s story of hope?
Your Christmas gift can change a life forever.

To donate or support Kevin’s salon start-up, kindly contact us or send your contribution through www.paypal.me/womenrelianceug

Together, we can make Kevin’s Christmas unforgettable.
