From Plastic to Possibility ♻️💚

When Julienne arrived in Uganda after fleeing conflict, providing for her family was a daily struggle. Looking for a way to rebuild her life, she joined Eco Brixs’ Plastic Buy-Back Program, collecting plastic waste and turning it into a reliable source of income.

With determination and consistency, Julienne was able to start a small food and fresh produce business, creating a second source of livelihood for her family. Today, her children remain in school, her family’s wellbeing has improved, and she has moved from dependency to self-reliance.

At Eco Brixs, every kilogram of plastic collected is helping transform lives, proving that recycling creates opportunities for people, communities, and the planet.

At just 22 years old, Sango Sharif, a Person with a Disability (PWD), has been a valued member of the EcoBrixs family for the past two years.

His journey is a testament to the power of inclusive employment. At EcoBrixs, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to work with dignity, earn a sustainable income, and build a brighter future, regardless of ability.

Through meaningful green jobs, Sango is not only transforming his own life but also contributing to a cleaner environment by helping turn plastic waste into valuable products.
