Community Care Foundation-Uganda (CCFU)

CCFU is still a small nonprofit charity run by Volunteers. it is a Community Based Organization (CBO) registered under the ministry of gender-labor and Social development. no MMC/489/2016
CCFU was established in 2017 ant got fully registered in 2017 in response to the lack of Education and basic needs among the disadvantaged children, women & elderly. It is

working to improve the wellbeing of under privileged vulnerable children, women & elderly in Masaka region. It aims to help them live a better & a purpose driven life through providing Education and some of the basic needs. We also get involved in other work like re-settling street children, sharing HIV/AIDS awareness, educating Sexual Reproductive Health and Peer Education in adolescents and community/ volunteer work, among others. The initiative was started with the challenge to overcome the causes of the vulnerabilities we found in this area, through providing Education & life changing opportunities to under privileged children, women & elderly

CCF-U was founded to respond to the following problems:
Increase of Street children
Increase of Child Exploitation
Increase in the spread of HIV/AIDS among youth & the entire Masaka community

Lack of family support to child & elderly
Lack of Education & basic needs among vulnerable children
Lack of basic needs among elderly people

CCFU is committed to give children, elderly & women an opportunity to have a better FUTURE and to live a purpose driven life. Join CCFU to save and change the lives of the needy in Masaka region, Uganda today. Our Values:

Our Story

Community Care Foundation-Uganda (CCFU) Is a youth led non-profit community based organization founded by a group of young peoples who volunteered their time to work towards social transformation. It is working to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable young people, women & elderly in Masaka region to live a better & a purpose driven life through Educating, Engaging & Empowering them.

CCFU is to bring love and hope to young people and to transform poor communities in Masaka region and in Uganda atlarge. Since 2016 CCFU has demonstrated that young people are significant actors in development and can drive positive change at local, regional and national level in the areas of Education Support, Women Empowerment, Behavior Change Communication, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights & HIV/AIDS awareness in young people. We work to bring about sustainable changes through Educating, Engaging and Empowering young people.
