Hope Family

Hope Family To care for Orphaned, Abandoned, Vulnerable & Special Needs Babies in the Nakaseke & Luwero District's in Uganda. THE STORY SO FAR.. In 1999, Hope Family begun.

Our home here for babies at New Hope Uganda, began in 1999 when 7 babies were taken into New Hope Uganda by an American couple, Matthew & Julie Shorack, following the closure of a baby home elsewhere in the country. Since that day over 45 babies have passed through Hope Family including the ten that we have here at present! Stu & Sarah Dendy joined New Hope Uganda in 2010 where they now live and w

ork with their two sons, Sammy & Thomas. Their desire is to continue to build a home where the babies know & experience loving care, & ultimately, knowing God as their true Loving Father.

‘Father of orphans,
champion of widows,
is God in his holy house.’
Psalm 68: 5

OUR GOALS:

To place orphaned & abandoned babies into loving families, whether that be ultimately biological, foster or adoptive

To provide care and support for Vulnerable Mothers, working with the local community & wider church family

To reach out to families with babies in
the community by supporting them with the provision of milk formula, basic baby care items, and training
