Today was a special day at Victory Faith Junior School

Tammie had her very first session teaching our kids, and we had about 15 children present (with more expected in the coming weeks 🎉).

She shared the story of Lazarus and the scripture from John 11:35 – “Jesus wept” (The Book of John), reminding the kids that Jesus cares deeply for us and has the power to bring life, restore hope, and do the impossible. ✝️✨

We’re so excited to see these young hearts growing in faith every Saturday. ❤️🙏

Psalm 8:2 (KJV)

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

Psalms 56:3 – When I am afraid, I will trust in You.

One bright morning, a young boy named David was taking lunch to his big brothers who were soldiers. But when he got to the army camp, everyone looked scared.

“Why is everyone hiding?” David asked.

“Shhhh! There’s a giant named Goliath out there!” whispered one soldier. “He’s big, loud, and he wants to fight.”

David peeked over the hill. And wow! Goliath was HUGE. He had a shiny sword, a big helmet, and a deep, scary voice.

But David wasn’t scared. Why?

Because David knew God was bigger than any giant.

He remembered what he learned when watching the sheep: “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”

So David picked up five smooth stones from the river, held tight to his sling, and walked out to face Goliath.

The giant laughed, “You? A little boy?”

But David shouted back, “You come with a sword. I come in the name of the Lord!”

He swung his sling, let the stone fly—whizz!—and thump! Goliath fell to the ground.

Everyone cheered! God had helped David win
