How long do you read the Bible every day? What is your best time to read?

Three faithful disciples followed the Lord in baptism today: Nicholas, Jonathan, and Brenda.

God must be well-pleased with such precious people ! Pray that God makes them mighty witnesses to Christ.

Titus preached his first full-length sermon this morning at a Baptist church in a village near Mbarara, about the rich young ruler
(Luke 18:18-27).

The pastor, Eric, is an extremely zealous man of great understanding, despite the language barrier.

"God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise."

This is the great deception of the human heart, that we are “good enough,” or that somehow we can save ourselves.
But the Bible says otherwise:

“There is none righteous, no, not one.” – Romans 3:10

Many trust in their own goodness, religion, or intentions, yet only Christ can save.

Salvation is not in what we’ve done, are doing, or plan to do.
It is in what Jesus Christ has already done on the cross. ✝️

🕊️ “Neither is there salvation in any other.” – Acts 4:12

Let us not flatter ourselves, but flee to Christ for salvation.

This humbles the proud and exalts the grace of God.
Salvation is not a partnership between man and God, it is the work of God alone.

📖 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8–9

We brought the sin.
Christ brought the sacrifice.
Grace did the rest. 🙌

With hundreds of millions of people, but very few missionaries preaching the truth of the gospel, Africa is a tragedy.

The apostle Paul asked, “How shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14). If godly missionaries are not sent, then God’s message will not be delivered.

We are an evangelistic, church-planting mission in Africa, training up local missionaries for the work of the ministry.

Jesus commanded the church, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:16).

Africa 🌍 is part of the “world.” And there are many lost “creatures” in it. Nearly 1 in every 5 people on the planet live in Africa. We cannot ignore 1/5th of the people Jesus died for.
