"Toxic Charity" by Robert D. Lupton is a great book. We at Childhood Mission of Uganda had an opportunity to meet Mr. Lupton. We read the book and continue learning from it. Given our lessons from the field in Uganda, we absolutely agree that empowering the poor through employment is one of the best ways to help them pull themselves out of poverty. We believe that "One Acre and a Woman is a potential project that can transform lives for a long time.

The children's food pantry at Bright Steps Kids Academy is getting stocked with food from the "One Acre and a Woman Project". This project is self-sustaining and will help reduce child hunger and starvation. Thanks to our supporters.
