Global Forum for Development (GLOFORD) Uganda is a local Non-governmental Organization that empowers the vulnerable populations of post-conflict Northern Uganda to drive peaceful development. We currently work in the Lango sub-region but aim to serve communities throughout northern Ugandan in the future. Its structure consists of a governing Board of Directors and office staff. GLOFORD educates, a
dvocates, empowers, and improves economic, political and social environments for the most vulnerable populations in post-conflict northern Uganda: youth, women, children, and people with disabilities. We work in the sectors of human rights (including rights of women, youth, and children), good governance, civic participation and engagement, accountable leadership and democracy, livelihoods, general and reproductive health, and peace building. GLOFORD is engaged from the village to national level. It has a strong support network of CBOs, NGOs, local and district leaders, opinion leaders, and community members. It's staff and Board is university educated, experienced in all sectors of development, and committed to serving the people of Uganda. Organizational values:
