Behind the new look, itโ€™s the same work: holistic rehabilitation of children with disabilities in Northern Uganda.

๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐€๐œ๐ข๐จ ๐‘๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐Ÿ’š

Acio Ruth (left) is pictured here with her mother.

She is a former patient at Foundation - Uganda, and has successfully completed her rehabilitation at our centre. Today, she is one of eight students supported through our secondary school scholarship programme.

Acio Ruth is currently enrolled at St. Kathrineโ€™s Girlsโ€™ School in Lira โ€” a major milestone on her journey toward independence and opportunity.

Her story is a powerful reminder that with the right support, rehabilitation can open doors far beyond recovery.

Da รฅpner vi dรธrene pรฅ rehabiliteringssenteret vรฅrt i Lira, og foreldre og foresatte kommer for รฅ lรฆre hvordan de kan hjelpe barna sine gjennom enkle รธvelser og opptrening hjemme.

For mange familier er dette den eneste muligheten de har til รฅ fรฅ tilgang til rehabilitering. Barn med funksjonsnedsettelser i Uganda mรธter ofte stigma, fattigdom og begrenset tilgang til helsetjenester.

Nรฅr foreldre fรฅr kunnskap og stรธtte, skaper det nye muligheter for barna.
