This week at Milele School of Community, we’re shaping more than wood—we’re shaping futures. Through our carpentry training, young people are gaining practical skills that empower them to create, earn, and build sustainable livelihoods.

One of our students shared:
“This is so beneficial because it has given me skills and also helped me become more creative.”

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Bishop Titus Kisubika, who graciously served as the Chief Guest at our previous Milele School of Community graduation.

His presence, wisdom, and words of encouragement left a lasting impact on our students and the entire Milele community. He showed genuine passion for empowering others and uplifting lives.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his life. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire us all.

Taking learning beyond the classroom

Our Digital Marketing, Graphics Design, and Photography & Videography students recently visited NRG Radio for an immersive industry experience.

The purpose? To give them real-world exposure to see how the skills they’re learning are applied in a fast-paced creative environment.

From exploring the studio to understanding content creation and broadcasting, the students asked questions, engaged with professionals, and got hands-on insight into the media world.

And it wasn’t all serious; there were some fun moments too… including winning a few dance challenges in the studio!

Because at Milele Foundation, we believe skills are best learned when experienced, practiced, and lived.
