Our Story
Link Hope Foundation Uganda is a community-based nonprofit making organization registered with Kitgum DLG in 2015 built on the foundation of young people who are concerned about community transformation. Top of our priority is agriculture. It would be naive to imagine a better society in the entire African continent than to support agriculture. However, it is still paradoxical that a continent with about two-third of its population, young suffers from some of the worst forms of famine. This is so because of the stereotypical mentalities young people have got— agriculture is for the old, agriculture is dirty, agriculture is rural. LHFU changes the narrative by encouraging young farmers to join the agricultural production league, but most importantly, create a platform where farmers learn and share better practices and hence increase their yields.
