Father's Love Community Outreach

Father's Love Community Outreach is a child centred NGO whose mission is to DEVELOP THE CHILD, EMPOWER THE HOUSEHOLD AND TRANSFORM THE COMMUNITY.

Core program areas are: Education, poverty alleviation, youth empowerment and spiritual transformation. Fathers Love Community Outreach is a child centred community development organisation. Our vision is: A HEALTHY, LITERATE, GODLY AND ECONOMICALLY EMPOWERED COMMUNITY. We started in 2009 with just 10 families, offering them monthly domestic support and some scholastic materials for the children.

We have now recently grown to 70 registered children and their families. Our emphasis is the holistic development of orphaned and vulnerable children and the economic empowerment of the households where they live. We have started and supported small scale income generating projects for some of our households and will continue to do so until each household is economically self sustaining. Our support for the children goes into their education, health, social and spiritual development. We believe they are tomorrows leaders and so we need to impart into them the values and disciplines that will enhance their leadership as change agents. Walking with a child on their journey of growth and development, offering support and encouragement, is one of the most rewarding things. At FALCO we thank God for children like Angel Kwikiriza, whom we took up when she was just 9; brilliant, but living in very absurd conditions without much hope in life. With the support of friends, she will be completing her Advanced certificate of education this year and gaining an employable skill thereafter. She will then be empowered to transform her family and community. Our strategy is holistic development. Our goal: change agents for communities. Congratulations Miriam Cyimpaye upon passing your O level national exams successfully. She put in her best effort in the face of many difficulties and won. She will now proceed to acquire a skill that will empower her to transform her life and her family. The big picture remains: Develop the child, empower the household, transform the community.

Its Christmas time again, and the festive season comes with rejoicing and spreading love and compassion. As is our tradition, we also celebrate by putting smiles on these young souls. Lets make it memorable for them!

Building strong children like Promise Irahari, in partnership with family and other stakeholders, has been our joy for the last 15 years. The rewards of watching them grow into stable teens and responsible adults is incomparable.
We enrolled Promise when she was just 5 years in 2022 and she continues to grow holistically. May her dreams come to fruition, and may God bless the hearts that are partnering with us to nurture the young generation.

Princess Busingye can afford a smile and an opportunity to study and work for a prosperous future. Her mother (pictured here) has gone through untold suffering to bring up her 7 children. Having lost her husband about 3 years ago, she does many odd jobs and small businesses to ensure that there is food on the table. Thanks to our partners who are making a difference in families such as this one.
CHRISTMAS is now around the corner and we plan on making it a happy one for the children and their families.
