The Potter’s Village kitchen has had a much‑needed makeover!
Our old stoves were no longer working, but the renovation is now complete and the kitchen is fully up and running again. This space is essential for preparing meals for the residential children, and we’re so thankful for the support that keeps our project going.

A huge thank‑you to our wonderful supporter, Sarah, who chose to give back to the community by donating brand‑new medical equipment to the Medical Centre. Her gift of a new suction machine will make a real difference to the care we can provide.
We’re so grateful for supporters like Sarah, Thank you!

A few weeks ago, the Potter’s Village Rehab unit for disabled children held a Praise and thank you party for the 10 children who have started walking over the last few months. There was singing and dancing, lots of testimonies and Praise to God for what he has done in their children’s lives, cake, balloons and bubbles. Here is a flavour of the day 🥰

We also welcomed Crissy our new Physiotherapist working alongside Keti and Annah to continue this incredible work.

It was with much joy that the staff at Potter’s Village enjoyed an Easter meal together. Not only was this an opportunity to celebrate the message of Easter, but it was also a way of saying thank you to all the staff.

Potter's Village currently supports over 60 children living in the community in Kisoro district. Each month all these children are invited to Potter's Village to by weighed and checked and for their carers receive their support money.

The group who visited in February from St James and Emmanuel, Didsbury took many children's shoes and also many donated clothes and some brand-new hoodies and sweatshirts. Most of the children left with new clothes or shoes along with a bag of food, which includes sorghum flour, rice, sugar and dried fish. They were also giving a huge bar of soap!

These are some of the ways that the children living in the community are supported and we are so grateful to all those sponsors who give regularly so that this support can continue month by month.

A group from St James & Emmanuel (Didsbury) have arrived for a visit at Potter's Village, giving them a chance to support the work hands on.

They brought a number of baby bouncers with them, which were assembled on arrive and all put straight to good use! In the last month we have had another four new admissions into the crisis centre, taking the number of resident babies to a high of 30!

If you would like to support caring for these babies, please consider child sponsorship. You can request to sponsor one of the new residents if you would like Mishelli, Samantha, Prossy and Emmanuel are all looking for sponsors.

If interested please contact [email protected] or leave a message on this page and we will get back to you. Thank you!
