Today we participated in a high level meeting organized by the Uganda Minority Shelters Consortium (UMSC) together with Uganda Network on Law, Ethics and HIV/AIDS (UGANET), which was aimed at raising awareness of and UGANET’s inclusive services that promote access to justice, health, and community support for all individuals, regardless of background or circumstance.

The engagement provided a safe and participatory space for dialogue, learning, and collective action. We highlighted survivor‑centered approaches and emphasized the importance of coalition solidarity in advancing rights, dignity, and inclusive systems of care especially within World Bank projects.

Today, under the theme "Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response," Azali Women Organization stands with LBTQ survivors of GBV, human trafficking, and exploitation. Diisruptions like violence and stigma continue to block their access to vital care. We are therefore committed to transforming this response by ensuring all survivors especially those most marginalized receive trauma-informed support, education, and access to HIV prevention and treatment.
Your safety. Your health. Your rights.
