AYDO is a non-profit making community based organization founded on 3rd-february -2017 by four individual youth coming from humble backgrounds in the villages of Lufula and Tebuyoleka, Bwaise II parish, Kawempe Division, after several years of grassroots charity and community development works in poor societies throughout Uganda. the department of community welfare services with corporate headquar
ters in the same area. Our work focuses on bettering the lives of those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, orphans, vulnerable youth, women, the disabled, the elderly, and others who struggle to meet the basic needs in life. We aim to empower the target groups to further our mission by increasing the standard of living of their families and contributing to the overall social and economic advancements of the country. GOALS/OBJECTIVES:
We accomplish our goals by supporting individual families regardless of their age, race, caste, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, political affiliations, creed or religious beliefs.
To protect the youth from alcohol and drug abuse
To promote resilience and improve welfare of vulnerable children and youth
To fight youth unemployment
To promote literacy and reproductive health among the youth
Developing the youth mind set.
